Sondra Sherrod Valdez, 76, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, in Menard.
She was born in San Angelo, Texas to Clyde and LaNelle Sherrod on January 8, 1946.
She lived in Menard County for 39 years. She loved doing puzzles, crossword puzzles. She loved reading, watching games shows. Sondra loved being with her grandchildren and family.
Sondra is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and LaNell Sherrrod, sister, Janice, and brother, Wendon.
Sondra is survived by her four sons, David Owen and wife Vicky, Jimmie Owen and wife Brigette, Michael Owen and wife Tracie, and Tommy Sherrod; twelve grandchildren, and eleven greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Rest Haven in Menard with Wendon Sherrod officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Owen, Zach Owen, Conrad Owen, Otis Rendon, Larry Nesset, and Mark Hodges.
