Antonio S. Molina Sr. went peacefully to his Heavenly Home on December 9, 2025.

He was born on July 20, 1938 in Fort Mc-Kavett, TX to the late Rafael and Enriqueta Molina. Antonio grew up in Fort McKavett, where he was raised by Pedro Duarte and Bessie Duarte. This is also where he met the love of his life, Rosa Saucedo. The two married June 11, 1961 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Fort McKavett, TX. Antonio and Rosa raised six children.

Antonio was a hard working man who began working as a lanero in 1954 at just 16 years old. A year later he became a tasinque, a job he devoted himself to for the next twenty years. In 1975, he proudly established his own shearing business while also taking on harvest work. He officially retired in 2002, yet his passion never faded, he continued shearing show lambs for families in Menard until 2004.

Left to cherish the memories are his wife of 64 years, Rosa Molina of Menard, TX, daughters; Henrietta and husband Jeff Haechten of San Antonio, TX, Sally Molina of Austin, TX, Linda and husband Danny Zamora of Round Rock, TX, sons; Jaime Molina and wife Esther of Kyle, TX, Tony Molina Jr. of Menard, TX, Oscar Molina and Delia Pesina of Kyle, TX, grandchildren; Bryant Alvarez, Sarah Alvarez, Tracy Alvarez, Stacey Alvarez, Jonathan Alvarez, Jacob Lara, Patrick Alvarez, Derrick Alvarez all of Austin, TX, Analiese Zamara and Daniel Kinsey of Round Rock, TX, Elissa and husband Eduardo Lopez of Jarrell, TX, Jennie and husband Matthew Teal of Leander, TX, Alex Haechten of Liberty Hill, TX, Briony and husband Jared Howat of Denver, CO, great grandchildren; Kendra Teal, Colyer Teal, Kiera Teal all of Leander, TX, Sebastian Lugo, Emilia Lugo, both of Jarrell, TX, Michael Kinsey of Round Rock, TX, and Atlus Howat of Denver, CO, sisters; Marta Duarte of Stockton, CA, Minnie Ochoa of Chicago, IL, Gloria Duarte of San Angelo, TX, and brother Pete Duarte of Corpus Christi, TX.

He will be greeted in a Heavenly Reunion with his parents, his brothers; Fred Duarte, Dario Duarte, granddaughter Valerie Rodriguez, and sonin-law Carlos Alvarez.

Visitation was held at Menard Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Menard, TX on December 12, 2025 from 5-7, with rosary recited at 7 p.m.. Funeral Mass was held at Menard Sacred Heart Catholic Church noon. Interment immediately followed at Fort McKavett Cemetery. Pallbearers were include Bryant Alvarez, Jonathan Alvarez, Derrick Alvarez, Joseph Valverde, Jake Woolf, and Alex Haechten.

A special thank you to everyone at Menard Manor and High Plains Senior Care for the love, compassion, comfort and care you showed Tony during his 4 1/2 years with you. We are forever grateful.
