Joe Edward Baker of Menard, Texas passed away November 2021 at the age of 63. Joe was
Joe was raised in Menard and graduated from Menard High School in 1977. After high school Joe settled down in Menard and married the love of his life, Janice Baker, on November 25th, 1992. Joe was an avid fisherman, hunter, worker, and never missed a football game.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joe Franklin and Robbie Baker, as well as his brother Franklin "Junior" Baker and his sister Patsy Minyard.
He is survived by his wife Janice Baker; his daughter Jewel Petty; his daughter and son in law Marcie and Paul Benavides; his grandchildren Elliott Jones II, Qhue Jones, Cydney Petty, Raven Rameriz, Quentin Baker, and Lexus Aguirre; his greatgrandchildren Colton Jones, Ella'Joe Jones, and Paisley Jones; and his sisters Diane Simmons and Jo Ella Baker; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Joe had many family and friends, and touched the hearts of all those close to him.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at the Baptist Church in Menard,Texas.
