Pete Estrada, 80, of Menard, passed away on Friday May 26, 2023, in San Angelo. He was born in Menard to Felipe and Eva (Galindo) Estrada on May 22, 2023.
He lived in Menard County his whole life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Menard. Pete loved spending time with family and loved working.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Eva Estrada, twin sister Lupe Arrendondo, brothers, Jesus Elizondo, Ernest Estrada.
Pete is survived by his three sons, Pete Estrada Jr., and wife Francis of Fort Meyers, Florida; Michael Estrada and wife Dorothy of Menard; David Estrada of San Angelo; daughter, Isabel Hines and husband Melvin of San Angelo; two brothers, Phillip Estrada and wife Alicia of Bronte, Joe Estrada of San Angelo; three sisters, Anita Rios of Littlefield; Juanita Ortega of Menard; Amy Benavides of Seminole. Ten grandchildren, Michael Joe Estrada, Michelle Ramos, Mia Estrada, Victor Sanchez, Mario Sanchez, David Estrada, Wesley Hines, David Hines, Christopher Hines, and Stewart Hines; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of Menard.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31 at First Baptist Church of Menard with Grady Arnold, officiating. Burial took place at Garden of Memories in Menard.
