Mary was born in Ballinger, Texas on December 20, 1926, to Roy and Gladys (Blackwell) Green. She was the youngest of five children: brothers Gene and DL and sisters Norma Lee (Nurm) and Peggy. She adored her mother who was a firm but funny matriarch.

Nathan Hamilton Minyard of Menard was granted his wings on March 14, 2024. Nathan was born April 17, 1996, to Mark and Carol Minyard in San Angelo, Texas.

Mitzi Ann Lehne was born May 22, 1943, to Mary Mc-Guffin Lehne and George Lehne Jr. She was born in San Angelo, Texas and grew up on a ranch in Fort McKavett.
